Please note that this town is fairly remote. The most convenient way to get around is by renting a car, as rideshare options like Uber are limited. That said, we’ve compiled a full list of local taxis that can be pre-booked for the wedding day or any other day you may need.

There are plenty of lovely Airbnb options in and around Ilfracombe — a charming town in Devon where the venue is located! If you’d rather stay a bit farther away, that’s totally fine too — just be sure to allow a bit of extra time to get to the venue!
Travel Recommendations
Major Airports: Fly into London Heathrow (LHR) or London Gatwick (LGW) — both have frequent direct flights from major cities like NYC, Boston, D.C., and Philadelphia.
Weather: Devon in July is sunny but breezy (66–75°F). Bring layers and comfy shoes — perfect for seaside strolls!
From London to North Devon
By Train:
Take the train from London Paddington to Barnstaple (usually with a change at Exeter St Davids).
Total journey: ~4.5–5.5 hours.
Book tickets early on National Rail or Trainline for the best fares.
By Car:
Renting a car? It’s about a 4.5–5 hour drive from London to Ilfracombe or surrounding areas.
Driving in the UK is on the left side, so keep that in mind!
Scenic route tip: Take your time and stop in a few countryside villages or coastal spots along the way.
By Coach/Bus:
National Express runs affordable coaches to Barnstaple and other towns in North Devon.
Slower but budget-friendly.
